What is micro switch?

A miniature snap action micro switch, is a passive actuated and momentary contact switch. Widely applied in appliances or devices of automotive, industrial and medical instruments as sensor.

SPDT switches working rules

Pin 1 is a common terminal, pin 2 is closed in free status, and pin 3 is open when press the actuator.

Free without any pressure, pins 1 and 2 are connected.

Being activated, pins 1 and 3 are connected.

"3-way" is the electrician's design for a single pole double throw (SPDT) switch.

The switches get a complete circuit when current flows in cycle and the bulb light on.
