What is a tact switch

A "tactile switch" is a widely used switch that typically completes a circuit when the user applies pressure to the device, and then provides the user with a perceptible "click" or tactile shock in response, instructing the flow of electrical current. When the switch is released, the current is turned off. Simply put, a tactile switch is a momentary action device whose operation is perceived by touch.
